Sustainable Development Week

Sustainable Development Week is our annual event for sustainability advocacy. During the event, we will present our latest research, social service projects and students’ innovation in the form of exhibition and hold speeches, hackathons and environmental workshops. We aspire to spark new ideas for sustainable development among students and teachers and let the inspiration ripple for the next big thing.

Sustainability Hackathon

During Sustainability Development Week, we invite our students to participate in Sustainability Hackathon to brainstorm for sustainable development. Coming from a medical training background, our students are able to come up with creative solutions for health-related issues and open up interesting dialogues among the participants from all walks of life.

We set up posters featuring SDGs information in school hallways to showcase global trends of sustainable development and CMU’s responding actions. In order to encourage further participation, we also recruit student volunteers to support the walkthrough of the exhibition.

Dusk Lecture Hall

Ranging from global climate change to local cultural sustainability, we host a series of speeches and lectures featuring professional insights on SDGs and aim to enlighten our participants. We hope to provide diverse learning opportunities for both students and teachers and invite them to be part of change for a sustainable future.
